The food was delicious. Everything very fresh and homemade. Even the salad is worth eating at the mousetrap.

A very cozy restaurant with funny sayings on the walls. The nut corners are particularly recommended. The ducks on a small brook that flows past the restaurant are the highlight. Very friendly service and reasonable prices.

Excellent food with great service. I had a table at the sunroom, which was a cozy setting with the lit fireplace. However, fully occupied it gets pretty noisy in there. Still, a definite recommendation!

A warm welcome for my daughter's children's birthday party, we ate delicious pizza, and the children's wishes were met with loving care. We were able to enjoy a nice afternoon in the mousetrap even in bad weather. A special highlight was the mousetrap cake that was decorated with many details for my daughter's birthday and was also very tasty. Many thanks to the whole team, keep it up!

Great sun terrace with a lovingly designed garden including a stream with ducks and many decorative elements. In addition great homemade cake and a delicious latte macchiato, served by an extremely friendly young lady, perfect after a strenuous hike!

Very nice ambience, everything very lovingly decorated! A place to feel good. Perfect with children, you can sit in peace at the table on the beautiful terrace and watch the little ones play. The food was really delicious, we had booked half board as hotel guests and got a fantastic 3-course menu. The service was very good, very helpful and attentive! We would love to come back!

Excellent food, a lovely terrace, really nice service. Seriously, the garden is paradisiacal and there's a really cool playground for kids including a small Zipline that goes over a small stream - perfectly safe but certainly thrilling for any small person with the courage to brave it. The only thing I wish was that it were allowed for adults too.

Wonderful place to sit, nice menu with excellent products, cake and ice cream. Large garden with a nice wooden playground for the children. Cozy ambiance. We have not been to the mousetrap museum but the restaurant / cafe is worthwhile in itself.

Delicious cake, well-kept premises. Slight deduction to four stars: the question about a mobile phone charging cable was kindly but spontaneously rejected. Certainly no need to help here, but if you had been service-oriented out of conviction you would have made more effort here.

We were there yesterday on recommendation and we enjoyed it, we both had the wild sausage with fried potatoes and bacon beans it was really delicious, unfortunately we lacked some mustard with the sausage, with the request from the waiter for some mustard came a little blob on a small plate of the mustard later appeared on the bill as mayonnaise with 60 cents and we both did not like that with a meal of almost 14 euros each, we are definitely not interested in the 60 cents what kind of fries with mayonnaise more than okay, but mustard is part of a sausage. Then we treated ourselves to a perfect espresso, which we would have liked to have a small biscuit, perhaps in the shape of a mouse? ! Too bad that sometimes it fails because of such small things. The very, very friendly and nimble staff is commendable.

A wonderful restaurant! We came over after a long tour and happened to choose the restaurant because we were loaded with dogs and children. We were greeted warmly and got a nice place in the beer garden so that the little one could play in the garden, there was a small climbing frame, several swings and a standing seesaw, and my little one was even allowed to watch the ducks while waiting for the food. The food itself was fantastic! The meat was incredibly tender and the sauces were very, very tasty. In my hometown they are happy to learn about the quality of the food. Price performance is definitely against and the ambience is very inviting, as is the service warm and friendly 😊 We look forward to seeing you again on our next vacation2

I am really sorry that we had to visit this restaurant at a temperature of 40 degrees and so it was not possible to be outside in the wonderful garden. But the food was good and the personnel very friendly

We were there after hiking. The food was great. Unfortunately the salad selection from the salad bar was a bit poor. We had a little more salad and other selections missing. Was the red beet fresh? And then another note: The friendly service always spoke only in the subjunctive: "should I", "we would have", "we could", etc .. Since we would be really interested, why you do not speak in the indicative?

Very nice, cozy place with friendly and willing to help personnel, tasty traditional food, fresh koelsch and bitburger, very nice playground for kids and beautiful terrace. The prices are quite competitive. Highly recommended!

Excellent food. Ate here multiple times and it tasted very good. For kids there is a small playground. Perfect place and I would come here again.

Food is OK but the rest is great. The atmosphere is right, it was also paid attention to details. Outside you can sit very nicely and children are more than welcome. Unfortunately, it could have been an operation more. Partly you had to wait right location. But would definitely come back. There are actually enough parking spaces in front of the door, but I had not seen the parking in front of the grotto, so we parked 500m away ...

Nice place in a little town. We were passing trough on the day there was a carnaval. The place was properly decorated and the food was good. Staff speaks a little bit of English.

World's biggest functioning mouse trap! Need I say any more!!! Food is also delicious.
